Anyway, sounds like you didn't turn the stop brake off. It's so you don't roll off into the distance when you're getting passengers on or off. That is called the stop brake, I believe? Stop brake? I had the same problem you had, and found that if you turned off the electricity but not the engine, accelerated to about 10, and turned the power back on what ever was causing the bus to slow down stopped working until you stop again.
